The Story Behind Santosham

Santosham is built on a shared vision- combining entrepreneurial leadership with generations of culinary tradition.

Traditional South Indian food is often characterized by its simplicity and minimalistic nature which allows the natural flavours of the fresh ingredients to shine. With a rich agricultural diversity, peninsular India has a rich culinary tradition with emphasis on creating well-balanced, flavorful, and nutritious dishes

Most items at Santosham are reminiscent of the pure and sacred “Temple Cuisine” which is traditionally offered as “Prasadam” in temples in Southern India.

Mr. Chittaranjan Gohokar

Founder

The vision behind Santosham
For Chittaranjan Gohokar, Santosham began with a simple idea- to create a place where people could experience the comfort and authenticity of traditional South Indian food.

Drawing on over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience in construction and manufacturing, he built Santosham by combining his business vision with the culinary traditions passed down through his mother, Bhagyalakshmi.

Together, they have shaped Santosham into a brand rooted in heritage, hospitality, and honest food. Today, his vision and leadership continue to guide Santosham’s journey as the brand grows and brings its authentic flavours and traditions to more people.
